1) Information to Send to OneS1ght Support
OneS1ght Support uses the information below to carry out locator registration, space registration, and locator placement in advance. If there is no 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi on-site, let us know in advance at onesight-support@onecheck.co.kr. We will guide you through an alternative.
2) Preparing the Verification iPhone and App
These are the device and app used to confirm positioning after installation. Preparing them in advance lets you start verification right away on the day.3) Installation Supplies
Depending on the installation method, you may also need the following.
4) Preparing the Floor Plan
Prepare the floor plan file to send to OneS1ght Support. You can use an image (PNG or JPG) or CAD (DXF) format.- The plan must accurately reflect the proportions and layout of the actual space.
- Convert non-image formats such as PDF to PNG or JPG.
- You can proceed without a plan. In that case, choose one corner of the space (the bottom-left corner when facing the entrance is recommended) as the reference point, mark it on the floor with line tape, and send the width and depth distance from the reference point to each locator together with the installation height.
5) On-Site Measurement
Using a tape measure or laser rangefinder, measure and record the following.- Record measurements in meters (m) to two decimal places.
6) Planning Locator Positions
- When planning locator positions, consider the width and depth at each spot together with the installation height. Width and depth are measured wall to opposite wall; installation height is measured from the floor to the locator. We recommend mounting locators at 2.4 to 3 m on the wall.
- Concentrating locators on one side or placing them in a near-straight line greatly increases positioning error, so place them to cover the detection area evenly.
(Keep at least 3 m between locators) - Locators need constant power, so check the nearest outlet before installing. Each locator must be installed where a power cable can reach it; installation may be limited where power is unavailable.
Metal objects can interfere with positioning signals. Do not install locators close to metal objects
(e.g., shelves, pillars, refrigeration units). Keep at least 0.5 m between each locator and any metal object.
One of the locators acts as the master locator, the transmission anchor of the cluster.
Which device is the master locator is communicated when the service is delivered. Place the master
locator where it has the best possible line of sight (LOS, a clear view with no obstacles in between) to the other locators.
